Strawberries on 903 – An Agricultural Experience

Come join us for a truly educational experience at a working farm. It is our objective at Strawberries on 903 to teach students about the history of farming and modern day farming practices.

Historic Farm Tour – Activities include visiting historical farm buildings such as the smoke house, cooling kitchen and the outdoor icehouse, as well as a close up look at antique farm equipment.

Modern Farm Tour – Activities include learning about commercial vegetable production, growing strawberries, raising beef cattle and haflinger horses, and a visit to the dairy milking parlor.

Other opportunities include a chance to pet and feed farm animals, hay rides around the farm, and pick your own produce.

On your tour, a guide will escort you around the farm explaining the various sites including old farm buildings, friendly farm animals, and crops of the season, complete with a hayride. The tour also includes an educational session, encompassing the historical farm tour, modern farm tour and many other agricultural experiences. There is also a picnic area at the farm, so bring a bag lunch and enjoy our easy-going, open air atmosphere. We hope that you will come join us for a fun agricultural education adventure!
